About Our Martial Arts Classes: Fitness Fusion MMA Classes are your introduction to fitness in the ancient martial arts tradition! Kickboxing and Striking Classes introduce newcomers to the proper basic techniques of striking, kicking and defense – so as to avoid injury AND to deliver the maximum impact per strike in a competitive or self-defense situation. Kickboxing classes involve a warm-up period, stretching, basic technique and/or conditioning drills followed by pad and/or heavy bag workouts and fitness drills. This class always delivers a maximum cardio benefit! Lastly, to round out the Fusion program, new SAMBO-based grappling classes have been recently added on Wednesdays (no-gi) and Thursdays (Gi/kurtka) evenings. Fitness Fusion Classes are great for beginners, as a basic introduction to the proven, fat-burning, muscle-building MMA exercises and drills; or for those already well-versed in MMA, to round out their overall conditioning and techniques, and to best reinforce important fundamentals. K Dojo Warrior Tribe also offers competition-level MMA classes and in a short time, has become locally and internationally renowned for producing repeat champions, particularly in the grappling arts. We teach a highly sought-after, unusual style known as "BANA" - Russian Highlander Fighting Methods - which is a blend of Jiu Jitsu, Judo, SAMBO and Wrestling, and has been commonly practiced in the Caucasus Mountain Regions of Russia for hundreds of years. Additionally, MMA Technical Striking classes and SAMBO/Grappling classes are also held several times per week for students to hone their techniques in striking, takedowns, clinch work, submissions, wall-work/bad positions, trips/throws and leg attacks. |
These classes all incorporate a blend of strength and conditioning exercises and drills which are rooted in various martial arts disciplines: Muay Thai Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Russian SAMBO, Judo and Jiu Jitsu.
We incorporate flexibility techniques, cardio-vascular/explosiveness conditioning, and “muscle-confusion” based strength training into every one of our varied workouts. No two classes at K Dojo are ever the same! We urge you to contact us to attend a trial class or a private demonstration; we have the means to work within your busy schedule and/or to tailor a plan that fits your own specific personal or corporate budget.
